Smokehouse Spices Rubs are blended and created in the heart of Yorkshire. The aim is to make rubs that require zero effort but deliver fantastic flavour transforming any food on the BBQ!
Where it Started
My passion for food and flavours began when I was young, taking charge of the BBQ at home to avoid eating my father’s charred offerings. This passion grew and I attended Leith’s School of Food and Wine to become a Chef, working in Michelin Starred restaurants.
I left the food world to explore other avenues but over the last 10 years I have developed my passion for cooking experimenting with rubs and sauces to truly show off the meat and vegetables on the BBQ.
The idea for our no-nonsense meat rubs all started over a Family BBQ, with my Brother-in-law simply stating that I should sell these rubs and so Smokehouse Spices was born.
Our aim is to make rubs and sauces that require zero effort but deliver fantastic flavour transforming any food on the BBQ!
