HFV, Parkland and Wild Venison
Having started initially farming deer, after a spell managing a highland estate on the Isle of Jura, we turned our attention to the national cry to use this natural resource that was expanding in the UK in Parklands and across the countryside as farming policies have become greener.
Venison's standout natural qualities as one of the healthiest meats available have allowed HFV to step up to the mark to provide our customers with the species choice they are looking for from both parkland and wild venison. Once a meat favoured by the aristocracy and royalty, venison has over the years become more available. Venison has shrugged off its claret and tweed image and has become very popular as a healthier, lower fat alternative that’s naturally high in omega 3 and versatile enough for both the summer barbecue and the winter roast or casseroles that are easy to cook. As consumers become more concerned about where their food comes from and what’s in it, we are proud to champion this locally sourced and nature sustainable range of Venison.
