Chances are, you’ve had chicken drumsticks before. That’s why we have an interesting and unique idea for you to try this week: Chicken drumsticks with coffee barbecue sauce. The barbecue sauce has a robust flavour so if you enjoy stuff like that, this is the recipe for you! To make the coffee barbecue sauce, you’ll need to mix around one or two tablespoons of water with mustard powder. Second, in a saucepan, you’ll need to combine ketchup, your mustard mix, brown sugar, coffee, onion powder, garlic powder and chilli powder. If you want don’t like spicy foods, you should leave out the chilli powder. Bring the combination to boil, reduce heat then let it simmer for around 10 minutes and it should be slightly thicker by that point. Next, take the pan off the heat; add some pepper, balsamic vinegar and soy sauce then stir.
The chicken drumsticks are baked with barely any bother. Put enough oil on a baking tray for the chicken drumsticks you’re cooking and make sure to space all of them out with none touching; pre-heat the oven to around 190° C. Next, if you want to season your chicken, this is when to do it. After you have seasoned the chicken, you can coat them in the sauce you have made. Make sure to not use all of it as some will be required to put on halfway through. Place the chicken in the oven and come back to check in around 30 minutes. Make sure to turn them over and apply the sauce again. Leave another 30 minutes and then serve up your luscious meal.
